Florida’s technology industry added more than 12,000 jobs in 2017, ranking the state fourth nationwide when it comes to year-over-year job growth, according to a new report.
The state has roughly 539,100 tech workers, representing 5.7% of the state’s total workforce. This places Florida in the No. 4 spot among 50 states and the District of Columbia when it comes to net tech employment, according to theĀ Cyberstates 2018 report by CompTIA, a nonprofit trade association.
